Common Scents K9 is owned and operated by Karen Gallant. Karen has over 20 years of professional canine experience including kennel management, temperament assessment, behavior, training, grooming, handling and wellness.
Karen is a Certified Master Dog Trainer since 2011, is Certified in Kennel Management, is a Canine Good Neighbor Evaluator (CKC) and maintains current Pet First Aid Certification through Walks and Wags Pet First Aid.
Karen holds a Professional Membership with International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and is also a member of the Ontario Dog Groomers Association.
Over the years Karen has continued to educate and improve herself, having participated in many specialized canine workshops and seminars in both Canada and the United States giving her the privilege of gleaning knowledge and experience from many very talented teachers.
