I have been to numerous dog trainers but never one that could read dog behavior as well as Karen. She is an incredible trainer who is thoughtful and patient in all her work. My boy Bo always struggled with off leash recall, but thanks to Karen his recall is now solid!

Karen is absolutely phenomenal with dogs. I call her a dog whisperer because she so quickly establishes a relationship with each dog she meets and works with. My shepherd Brady was a rescue who came with a boatload of issues I was not aware of. But I was and still am determined to work through them. My boyfriend and I adopted him together, and though he had lots of experience with dogs, I had and continue to have a lot to learn. Karen not only worked with Brady, but she worked with me to build my confidence in raising this crazy pup with a huge personality. She helped me and my dog through some very difficult times and I will continue to recommend her to absolutely everyone. I wanted to take a minute and say Thank You! I have just returned from my first hour-long ENJOYABLE walk with Ginger!
There was no real pulling (a little tug now and again to get a stick or smell something but easily corrected! ) There were no constant "NO" "leave it" "off" ... just a lot of "Good girl!" and "YES!" One dog we came across there was a little tension which, again, was easily corrected.
I can't thank you enough! I was beginning to think I would never enjoy walking her. (shared with permission)

Without question the best place to board your dog! Karen knows how to professionally handle your dogs individuality, as well as personally take care of them and treat them as her own pack. Her love for animals is evident and seen reciprocated through the animals' toward her. I can rest assured my dog is safe, exercised, socialized, fed and well treated when I leave him with Karen. The only thing you have to be prepared for is your dog not wanting to come home!

We have a very nervous golden retriever who is older and a one year old Yorkie and Karen is awesome with both of them! They've gone to the groomers since they were puppies, but the golden is always shaking like a leaf when we pick him up from other groomers and usually drooling like a mad thing, which he does when he's freaked out and every time I pick him up from Karen he is calm and happy and not in any rush to leave! It's a huge relief to know that he's so comfortable there, plus I love that there aren't five other people in the back doing all the work so you don't actually know who is grooming your dog! Karen is excellent and always takes our wants into account and then if she has a concern she lets us know and we go from there! Great prices and super flexible schedule!

Karen does an amazing job with my dogs. We have been to several of Karen's training programs with our yellow lab. I like to do a refresher every so often because it reminds us both. Her grooming is great. My 12 yr old Yorkie is fussy and she takes her time and talks to him just right to get him through the grooming. I highly recommend Karen for grooming, boarding and training.

Karen groomed my 2 golden retrievers today. She spent a lot of time with them and they look fabulous. Their fur is clean & shiny, trimmed neatly and their nails don't click on the floor anymore. Plus the new bandannas are a nice touch.

Karen Gallant is affectionately known in our house as the “dog whisperer”. After a discussion I had with a friend in regards to our one furbaby Brooklyn (a purebred boxer) we were put in touch with Karen. Brooklyn had been traumatized as a puppy. With us Brooklyn is a loving, affectionate boxer who is very protective. With everyone else, she is uber timid and afraid. Karen worked patiently with Brooklyn for several months and Brooklyn made leaps and bounds with her trust issues. While Brooklyn will never be fully trusting of strangers she is 100% better than where she was before Karen. Karen also helped us to find our second furbaby Bohannon (a boxer mix). Having Bo has also helped Brooklyn as he is the most affectionate trusting dog you will ever know. We are so thankful to Karen for what she has done with our furbabies. Karen is an amazing person who I would recommend without hesitation to anyone who has a dog (issues or not) whether it is to help with training, grooming or having sleepovers when you are out of town. We use Karen for all of the above and are so thankful that she has returned to us (being selfish here). Karen is part of our family.
